One of the best prospects to come out of Europe in a long time. The 2023 draft prospect has all the tools to immediately become an elite player in the league. Victor is 7’2 with a 7’8 wingspan and is a jaw dropping talent to watch. Defensively is already showing Nba shot blocking ability at 17 and the mobility to keep up with perimeter players as well. The scariest part of Wembanyama is the skills he already possess on the offensive side of things. He has an elite jumper that goes from his pull up game to his catch and shoot ability. At 7’2 his ball handling is uncanny for a player his size. The only weakness to his game so far is the fact that he’s still lanky and hasn’t filled up his frame. Normally moving that quick at that frame leads to injuries but with the proper training and conditioning to add with the building of strength he should be ok. Overall this prospect has shown the potential to be a star in the NBA (just watch his game in U19 World Cup). Keep him on your radar.
