Love’s draft stock should be soaring. He’s been the best player on the court most nights during the UNC tourney run. He is a dynamic scoring threat. Quality athlete who doesn’t need much space to get his shot off. His range extends well beyond the 3 line and he shows no fear. His offensive efficiency has improved with the quality of his looks. He doesn’t seem to be forcing things as much as he did his freshman season. Slithery penetrator who has the glide and burst to score around the rim. Excellent free throw shooter. His defense shouldn’t be overlooked either. He can defend. I will be shocked if this tourney run doesn’t push a player like this into the first round. His style of play is suited for the NBA and he is improving.
